埔里鎮每隔12年都會辦一場獨特的祈安清醮活動，已經舉辦了整整120年！
每逢子(鼠)年的祈安清醮、以及每逢卯(兔)年的三獻清醮。
2020年庚子年祈安護國清醮大埔城祈安護國清醮文化節，整個鎮齋戒吃素七天，無論是餐廳還攤販都改賣素食。希望藉此祈求平安好運、國泰民安和風調雨順。這項流傳百年的傳統不僅豐富了埔里鎮的文化，也增強了當地社區凝聚力。
Puli Town holds a unique Qing Jiao event every 12 years, and it has been held for 120 years! Every year of the Zi (Rat), we pray for peace and make a holy offering, and every year of the Mao (Rabbit), we make three offerings. In the 2020 Gengzi Year, during the Qing Jiao Cultural Festival in Dabu City to pray for the safety and protection of the country, the entire town fasted and ate vegetarian food for seven days, and both restaurants and vendors switched to selling vegetarian food. I hope to take this opportunity to pray for peace and good luck, peace and prosperity for the country and the people, and good weather. This centuries-old tradition not only enriches the culture of Puli Town, but also strengthens the cohesion of the local community.
