埔里的蝴蝶產業歷史可以追溯到1919年，而現今的木生昆蟲博物館則成為了一個重要的教育和觀光景點，可以對蝴蝶和昆蟲更深入了解。
博物館內的16,000多種昆蟲標本不僅包括各式各樣的蝴蝶，還有來自世界各地的昆蟲標本，一定要到博物館才可以欣賞到蝴蝶標本拼貼出來的藝術畫作。此外，蟲蟲活體飼養區可以親自接觸和觀察各種昆蟲，邊聽導覽員講解可以更認識昆蟲世界。館內還有提供多種DIY可以體驗，快來拼貼屬於自己的蝴蝶畫作吧!
戶外有大型網室蝴蝶生態園區，可以邊散步邊欣賞種類不同的蝴蝶，最後累了可以到蝴蝶小鎮Cafe’喝杯咖啡休息一下。

Taiwan Railway: From Taiwan Railway’s Taichung Station, transfer to Nantou or the All-Air Bus to Puli, get off at Niu’er Stone Sculpture Park Station, get off at Niu’er Stone Sculpture Park, go straight towards Niu’er Stone Sculpture Park, and pass the Niu’er Stone Sculpture Park parking lot (on the left side) Go to the end and turn left.
