廣興紙寮在台灣南投縣埔里鎮，歷史可追溯至日治時期。當時，埔里鎮曾擁有多達五十餘家的造紙廠，顯示造紙曾經在埔里的重要性。
廣興紙寮的歷史始於民國五十四年，最初名稱為「廣興製紙加工所」。然後，民國六十二年，廣興紙寮開始參與手工宣紙的生產，並更名為「廣興造紙廠」。
隨著機械化技術的進步，造紙業受到了衝擊。為因應變化，現今的廣興紙寮已轉型為以休閒觀光為主要方向。他們建立了「埔里紙產業文物館」，提供導覽服務，讓遊客可以深入了解造紙的過程和歷史。一進到廣興紙寮裡面就可以欣賞到專業師父俐落的抄紙和烘紙，還可以體驗各種DIY活動，從製作自己的手工紙開始到拓印喜愛的圖案上去，無論小朋友還是大人都可以一起同樂，這種轉型使廣興紙寮成為一個吸引遊客的觀光景點，但同時也保留了造紙的歷史和技術傳統。
廣興紙寮隔壁還有一間二館，目前是「種紙纖維 Fiber Seed 特展」，非常推薦到裡面逛逛，不只可以了解造紙歷史，還可以知道廣興紙寮對紙張原料的要求，降低手工紙對地球環境的傷害，最有特色的一區是使用三十種創新素材製程的明信片，有小花蔓澤蘭、蒜頭、筊白筍殼和洋蔥等等，再搭配可愛的印章，絕對是寫給朋友獨一無二的伴手禮。
